Everflow introduced a new “On Hold Conversions” feature that allows networks to set a holding period before conversions are realized, particularly useful for e-commerce businesses with return policies or shipping delays.

Key learnings:

  1. Networks can configure the hold period (in seconds, minutes, hours, days, or weeks) through postback controls, after which conversions are automatically approved unless manually rejected during the holding period.
  2. Partner visibility of on-hold conversions can be customized to three levels: invisible (partners can’t see them), restricted (partners see approved/on-hold but not rejected), or visible (partners see all).
  3. On-hold conversions are tracked separately from regular conversions and won’t appear in standard conversion reports or revenue calculations until they’re fully realized after the holding period.
